Dear God,


I messed up.


First, I do have to take some responsibility for not pushing myself harder, but also for not getting you involved sooner.

We got started alright. We formed our ideas into a rough plan and got things started. Everything pretty much went downhill from there.

Pieces of our plan got dropped in the cracks and most of them are getting done much, much later than we had hoped.

I'm starting to recognize opportunities that you laid down in our path. I hope I'm also beginning to take advantage of those opportunities as you have intended.

Forgive me for thinking we could do this on our own, without your help and guidance. Please accept the plea of one who is stubborn in his ways, but wants to follow your will. Please grant me the wisdom to follow your path.

My life is Your greatest gift, and I have not been living it to the best of my abilities. Grant me the humility to go where You would lead me.

Please accept my apologies as I welcome You back to my side, to guide and support me in everything that I take on.
